I think we are all excited that some sort of normal has returned with NFL football season under way. With Covid-19 still affecting everyday life, the NFL games look a bit different this year. Just because many of the stadiums will be empty of fans does not mean we won’t be enjoying the games and cheering on our teams.

We’re from Western NY, and hubby being born in Buffalo, we are Bills fans through and through.

But I will admit, watching at home is fun, watching with a group of lively friends and strangers is more fun. The energy you feel in the stadium is completely different than watching the game home alone, or with family and friends.

Luckily, there are places around us to hangout with others (6 feet apart/with a mask) have food and drinks, and cheer on our Buffalo Bills.

According to the Bills’ website, there are 3 official Bills Backer Bars in Saratoga Springs, one is downtown off Broadway, one on the westside, and one just down Rt 9. Join in and watch on big tv screens, enjoy food and drink specials, and hang with other Bills Fans!

The BBQ here is consistently rated top BBQ in the region. And their chili won Saratoga Springs’ Chowderfest in 2016 and 2017. Check out the BBQSA Buffalo Bills Backers Facebook page!

Harvey’s Restaurant and Bar

Harvey’s Restaurant is only a block from Broadway on Phila and there is even a large parking garage on the corner of Phila and Putman St. The parking garage is popular so it may be full. If so, drive around as the on street parking is free. Harvey’s is also a block from Congress Park. And the Putman St. garage is right across the street from Ben and Jerry’s.

2 West Ave Bar and Grille

2 West Ave, Saratoga Springs

2 West Ave is know for it’s relaxing atmosphere and good food. There is plenty of off street parking and is easy to get to. Unfortunately, at this time they are temporarily closed because of Covid-19. Hopefully they will be back in time to watch some Bills games this season.

Because of Covid-19, many changes have been made to be sure everyone stays safe on game days. Be sure to check the web sites of any of the Bills Backer Bars before heading out so you know what to expect.

Thanks for reading! I hope it helps!  :o)
