One of the best things about fall, beside the cool, crisp air, is the pumpkins! I’ve already seen neighbors making beautiful displays of hay bails and pumpkins, get us all ready for fall. Of course, you can buy pumpkins at the grocery stores, but it’s way more fun to get them from the farm. The pumpkin patches around Saratoga Springs offer more than just pumpkin purchasing.
We have corn mazes, slides, petting zoos, hayrides, and of course, pick your pumpkins in the pumpkin patch! Below is all the information you need to know for enjoying fall this season.

According to their web site “Each fall we create an Autumnal Wonderland full of one-of-a-kind displays and locally-grown pumpkins of every shape and size.” Sunnyside Gardens provides family friendly entertainment with hayrides, hay sculptures, little train rides, pumpkin picking in the pumpkin patch and apple cider donuts! (Because of Covid restrictions, no live music this year)

Ellms Family Farm takes fall fun to a whole new level. There is so much to do there I can not fit even half of it here. Check out their web site by clicking here to see ALL the activities they have to offer. Some activities charge a fee, so look for those in the descriptions. To name a few fun activities, Ellms Family Farm has a corn maze, zipline, low ropes course, farm animals to pet, whole family train, kids only train, jumping/bouncing areas, apple cannons, and even a robotic chicken show.
Something that Ellms Family Farm can boast that no other pumpkin patch has is their Pumpkin Glow & Light Show Drive Thru Experience. It is a drive through family adventure with thousands of hand carved pumpkins illuminated into breath taking displays. Be sure to check their web site for any changes and to buy tickets.

Liberty Ridge Farm is ready for family fun. They have a corn maze and bouncy pad, little train and pumpkin cannon, animals to pet, pig races to watch and a trolley ride and too many more to list here.
