The 8th Annual Toys for Toga
This Christmas will be very different as Covid has changed so many things about our lives. The community of Saratoga is such a loving and giving community and Toys for Toga is exactly that idea.

Toys for Toga drop off boxes are cardboard boxes with the logo, in or around local businesses. These local Saratoga businesses have teamed up with local sponsors to make Christmas special for every child living in the Saratoga area. And this year Quick Response joined in as a sponsor to make sure the toys are disinfected properly before going to their new homes. In this country no child should ever be without a gift on Christmas morning. Toys for Toga is here to help.
Toys for Toga supports Franklin Community Center (Saratoga Springs), CAPTAIN Youth and Family Services (Clifton Park) and the Mechanicville Area Community Services Center (Mechanicville) who offer help and services to the families in our own neighborhoods who could use some extra help.
According to Death Wish Coffee’s Blog page, the 2019 campaign collected over 3,000 toys and received more than $5,000 in donations, which was divided among the three charities.
Go Fund Me
It may be even more difficult to get out into the world to shop for the holidays as well as enter local businesses to drop off the Toys for Toga. This year brings a Go Fund Me page so that you can donate money from the comfort and safety of your own home. When you donate money, the amount is divided equally between the 3 organizations.
Druthers has created a special Toys for Toga IPA which will be sold at limited locations. For every 4-pack or pint sold, Druthers will donate $1 to Toys for Toga. Look for the special cans!

Because of Covid, some things will be done a little differently, for example, all Toys for Toga that have been donated will be sanitized with the help of Quick Response. Please drop off new, unwrapped toys to any of these locations so we can help Toys for Toga to make a difference again this holiday season.
